Food Pantries

SOS operates two client-choice food pantries. The client-choice model allows clients to walk through the aisles of our pantry, take what they need, and leave what they don't. This model helps reduce food waste and provides a more dignified pantry experience, similar to grocery shopping. Our pantries are stocked with fresh produce, frozen proteins, and various shelf-stable items.

The majority of food offered at our food pantries is recovered from South Florida farmers and local grocery stores, including Publix and Winn Dixie.
SOS is also a USDA-certified agency and a Feeding South Florida partner.
